This week was incredibly unproductive. I spent the majority of it watching One Tree Hill...I started on Saturday and I'm already on season 4. I'm not sure whether to be proud or ashamed of that...
Today is going to be a long day. After work we are immediately leaving for Austin (about a 3 hour drive) to go to my cousin's college graduation, and then we are immediately coming back. We won't be home probably until around 2am BUT it should be fun. :)
It's really hard this week coming up with five awesome things that happened since this was all in all a pretty lame week. But rules are rules, and I do enjoy a challenge, so here goes!
1. Sunday was Mother's Day and I went out with my mom and grandparents, and then my mom and I went to go see the movie Moms' Night Out which was HILARIOUS. And family friendly, which is rare for comedies. I would recommend it.
2. Yesterday I went shopping with my best friend. We went to some stores, tried to sell some clothes to resale shops (which worked out much better for her than me, but I had always wanted to try it), and ate some Chickfila.
3. The weather was SO PERFECT yesterday that I actually opened the windows in my room and drove around with them rolled down in my car. Sometimes you've just got to roll the windows down and crank the music up like you own the road. ;)

4. Both my Birchbox and Ipsy arrived! That's always an exciting day for me. I'll post my review of this month's products next week.
5. Umm...oh! I know! I started a happiness journal. Basically, everyday I write down one thing that made me smile that day. This could be something big or something small, the point is just to smile. Want to join in? Let me know in the comments!
Hopefully this week will be a little more eventful! Although, let's be honest...I'll probably just spend it watching the last 6 seasons of One Tree Hill.

DeleteI'm guilty of watching One Tree Hill during a good Netflix binge. I love it. Plus the whole no commercials, let's move straight on to the next show without having to move thing… it's pretty awesome. Also, I look forward to reading your Birchbox review!
ReplyDeleteI. Love. It. My friend has been telling me I need to watch it for months and I just now got around to it. I saw a meme today about Netflix that said "Gives you 15 seconds between episodes to decide if you're doing anything with your life today." Unfortunately I usually decide I'm not. ;) Thanks for stopping by! I should have that review up on Wednesday!
